Ask yourself: What truth from God’s Word do I need to return to today?​
Then sit with it. There's no pressure to fix it. Hand it over to the Lord.

When You Know the Word, You Stop Second‑Guessing God

Have you ever asked God for direction and ended up feeling more confused than when you asked? But that confusion doesn’t mean God is distant.

​

Sometimes the reason we get confused is that we don't hear God answer back. Yet, God is always speaking. When we don't hear Him, it's because we aren't properly tuned in to His voice. Sometimes we are trying to connect with God the same way we connect with people.

​

The best way to receive direction from God is to open His Word to hear what He’s already said.

​

Here’s what happens when you spend time getting to know what God's Word says:
​

• You stop looking for signs and you start trusting what’s already true
• God’s promises become your anchor, even in the midst of confusion
• You stop letting your feelings or fears dictate your decisions
• You start making choices that are rooted in truth

​

God has not left you to figure this life out on your own. Instead, He:

• Gives you strength through His Word
• Sends guidance and comfort through His Spirit
• Equips you to walk in peace

​

Let's face it. Life will sometimes feel overwhelming, but the Word of God is where you’ll find your footing again.

​

It will also remind you that God is still present, still speaking, and still leading and guiding you. That kind of peace does not come from knowing all the answers. It comes from trusting in the One who does.
