Your Weekly Guide to Growing in Faith & Natural Hair Care

Hi Reader!

Spring is literally at the door, and I'm so glad because for the first time in nearly 5 years, we had an actual winter in New York. And I'm so over it!

How about you?

Well, in today's newsletter, I've got tons of spring self-care tips to get you started on a good foot for the season...Ready for it? Read on...

πŸ“ˆ GROW IN GRACE

Preparing for Spring Hair Growth

Yes, Spring is the season for growth. Is your hair ready for it?

There are a few things you can do to prepare:

  1. Get a trim - If you live in a cold climate, it's highly likely your hair took a bit of a beating over winter. Get rid of those old, dusty ends and prepare your hair for seasonable growth.

  2. Out with the old, In with the new - Get rid of old and expired hair products. Restock your favorites or start using a few new products that you've had on your "wish list."

I started using a few new brands on my hair just recently, and I'm looking forward to the moisture they provide:
    • Kinky Tresses Coconut Mango Hair Butter
    • Kinky Tresses Avocado Infusion Restorative Conditioner
    • Design Essentials Honey Creme Detangling Shampoo (used and recommended by my stylist)
    • I Am Nubian Ginger Protein Hair Mask

  3. Review your hair routines - What you do in the winter, you may not need to do as the temperatures rise. For example, hot oil treatments. I ditch doing these every season but winter. Also, I just got my last hair straightening done for spring. It won't happen again until December. Reader What routines can you stop doing and start doing in their place?

If you forgot why you're hearing from me, Michelle - the creative woman behind Fine Natural Hair and Faith, it's probably because you purchased one of my digital products or signed up for a sweet freebie on my website. My emails sometimes contain affiliate links which pays me a small commission for recommending the products at no additional cost to you. Of course, I never recommend anything I don't use or have experience with. Thank you. If you aren’t vibing with these emails, you can say no-thank-you at any time, no hard feelings.
