Your ends are dry and they told me to email you

Hi Reader,

I've been in this natural hair game for well over 20 years. I actually stopped counting the years because being natural is just "natural" to me (no pun intended).

So, over the years, I've learned a lot and written a lot of content to help others like myself with fine natural hair. You see. When I went natural, it wasn't a popular thing to do. Fast forward to today, and there's so much information (some misinformed) that I've decided to put together some of my most popular articles/guides to make it easier for people like yourself to find the information needed - without the fluff.

10 Natural Hair Guides to Get Results

Are you feeling stuck or inconsistent in your natural hair routines? I’ve got something that can help. This roundup of 10 natural hair guides covers a myriad of natural hair care topics. 👉 Read the full article

🪮 CROWN TIP

As fall approaches, start thinking about and preparing to use heavier sealants in your hair. These sealants will be what keeps your ends moisturized and tangle-free. My choice is a double whammy application of Deanna's End Sealant Butter + Flax Seed Gel.

🙌🏼 TREASURE THIS
Shifting with the Season

Fall is the perfect time to realign your habits with your hair’s needs. It's similar to spring except instead of preparing for warmer weather, you're preparing for colder weather.

Your schedule might be shifting during this time, also. So, you need your routines to work for you and with your schedule, not add more pressure.

Here are three practical actions to focus on this season:

  • Start sealing your ends more often. The air is getting drier, and moisture escapes your hair faster. A thicker butter or oil applied to twists and braids on wash day can help your hair stay hydrated for longer.
  • Stick to low maintenance protective styles. The less you manipulate your hair, the more of it you retain. Choose styles that protect your ends and keep your routine low stress.
  • Don’t ignore your scalp. Massage it. Pray over it. Healthy roots matter for long-term growth.

These are the kinds of habits that I’ve seen bring the most results, especially for women who feel stuck, frustrated, or inconsistent.

If your biggest challenge has been staying consistent, I get it. If another big challenge is struggling with your identity, I get that too.

You are not the only one. That is exactly why I’ve been working on something behind the scenes. A place to support women who want faith-led guidance, clear routines, and a better relationship with their hair. Coming soon.

Reader, For years, I’ve seen it happen. Women, myself included, start strong in one area of life. We’re motivated, focused, and ready. But then life happens. We get pulled in every direction. We give so much to everyone else. And the things that matter most: our time with God, even something as simple as consistent hair care, quietly get deprioritized. It’s not that we don’t care. It’s that we’re human. And in the middle of it all, that quiet pressure builds. The voice that says, “You’re not...
